Education

On-campus undergraduate students have a choice of either a Bachelor’s of Arts in Administration or a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Systems and Technology. Within the two degrees, there are a variety of concentration options such as Financial Planning, Business Analytics, International Business, and Public Administration. Graduate students can earn a Master’s of Business Administration, Master’s of Public Administration, Master’s of Science in Accountancy, or Master’s of Science in Information Systems and Technology.

Student Life

Student Success Center offers workshops covering topics such as interview skills, resumes, and LinkedIn. Students can also receive assistance with finding internships, enrolling for credit, resume writing, and preparing class schedules each quarter.

Juniors and Seniors are given the opportunity to participate in internships. In fact, students are encouraged to complete multiple internships throughout their degree at the bachelor’s and master’s level. A few of the expected outcomes of the work-study programs are improved professional skills, greater employment prospects, stand-out resumes, and earning additional degree credits. While not all internships are paid, there are many that do pay student employees. Another way that CSUSB students make the most of their business education is through taking part in study abroad trips. This program is designed to expand both academic and real-world business knowledge and includes a pre-planned lecture series and assignments before an immersive two-week trip.
